By confirming your reservation and/or participating in activities provided by our resort, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Reservation & Payment:
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed upon receipt of full payment or deposit as specified. During your reservation, a minimum deposit of IDR 7.500K per person is mandatory to secure your rooms. We cannot guarantee your booking until the payment confirmation has been received. Reservation or booking should be made with Reservation Form on our website. Goverment tax & services charge 21%.
You can transfer money to our bank account. The minimum deposit is IDR 7.500K or you may find it more economical to transfer a large amounts (90%) and settle the balance when you are here. We will send you our bank details by email after your reservation is received. It normally takes 2-3 working days to reach us. We will inform you when it has arrived with further details.
We reserve the rights to cancel the booking if there is no confirmation. Due to any reasons, such as illness, change mind, etc. Change of dates for booking after deposit has been made will be subject to availability. Rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival may incur charges as per our cancellation policy.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
For all reservations submitted via our official website, requests for cancellation and refund made more than 14 days after the booking date are subject to the following terms:
The resort reserves the full legal right to decline any refund request, regardless of the reason provided. This includes, but is not limited to, claims involving:
Alleged fraud or scam incidents
Stolen or unauthorized credit card usage
Accusations of services not received
Disputes or allegations made without verified documentation
All guests are advised to review their booking details carefully and ensure payment security at the time of reservation. By completing a reservation, guests acknowledge and accept this policy in full. Makawidey Dive Resort upholds this policy to maintain operational integrity and protect both parties from misuse or misrepresentation
Check-In & Check-Out
Standard check-in time is 14:00; check-out is 12:00 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. After your arrival, we only accept cash for the moment (USD $, EURO €, Rupiah Rp. also VISA & Mastercard).
Accommodation & Inclusions
Room bundles may include meals, beverages, airport transfers, city tours, and diving packages as
specified in your booking. Complimentary amenities (e.g., Wi-Fi, beverages) are provided for registered guests only.
Diving Activities
All diving guests must present valid certification and medical clearance if required. Dive packages include dive boat, compressed air, tank, weights, dive guide, and post-dive refreshments. The resort reserves the right to cancel or reschedule dives due to weather, safety, or operational concerns. Guests must comply with safety briefings and instructions from certified dive staff at all times. No diving 24 hours before flights.
Privacy Policy
Makawidey Dive Resort is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our guests, partners, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We may collect the following types of personal information:
Full name, contact details, and identification documents
Booking and payment information
Travel preferences and special requests
Diving certifications and medical clearance (if applicable)
IP address, browser type, and device information when accessing our website
Your data is used solely for the purpose of delivering exceptional service and ensuring operational efficiency. This includes:
Processing reservations and payments
Coordinating airport transfers, tours, and diving activities
Communicating booking confirmations, updates, and promotional offers
Ensuring safety and compliance with diving regulations
Improving website functionality and guest experience
We do not sell or rent your personal data. However, we may share limited information with:
Authorized third-party service providers (e.g., transportation, payment gateways)
Government or legal authorities when required by law
Emergency services in case of medical or safety concerns

Regular system audits and staff training

Liability & Insurance
Guests participate in diving and other activities at their own risk. The resort is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings. We strongly recommend guests obtain travel and dive insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and equipment loss.
Conduct & Damages
Guests are expected to respect local customs, resort property, and fellow guests. Any damage caused to resort facilities or equipment may result in charges to the guest’s account.
Force Majeure
The resort shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, government actions, or pandemics.
Amendments
These terms may be updated periodically. Guests will be notified of significant changes prior to arrival or during check-in.
